Results 2009/10

Liverpool, Saturday 26th

First game of the season for the team and up against Manchester A and a few new faces in the Sheffield team. Best game of the day for the spectators. Fast, plenty of skill and the final score did not reflect how the team played. 8-13 to Manchester.

Last game of the day (a long day) and playing against Otter. A good old scrap. Sheffield win 11-7.

Sunday 27th

First game of the day against Liverpool B. the first quater was a little sleepy but it soon picked up in the second quater. Liverpool fought back in the third but Sheffields skill and strength took over in the final quater with the girls winning 9-3.

Corby, 17th

Another strong start for Sheffield with the team working well together. In the third quater Penguin started fighting back but Sheffield kept their heads and control of the game.

Second games seem to be a bit of a sleepy one for the team so far, but the team kept up their spirits and took another win beating Manchester B 11-8.

Sunday 18th

The only two teams left in Corby and Sheffield took the first goal. A fast game and a good battle but sadly Liverpool came through a little stronger and took the game 6-3.
